Rosie Tran is one of the fastest rising stars in the entertainment business today. Originally from New Orleans, LA, she moved to Hollywood in 2002 to continue pursing her career as a professional entertainer. The stand up comedian, writer, and actress has toured the country extensively, performing everywhere from bars, nightclubs, and festivals to some of the top colleges in the nation.

As a comedic writer, Rosie has been featured in half a dozen comedy books, including, “The Idiot’s Guide to Jokes”, “She’s So Funny”, and “The Comedy Thesaurus.” Rosie has, also, been featured on the popular Internet and Sprint cellphone channel, Comedy Time TV, as a stand up and actress on their web series, “Dick Nobody,” about a hair brained detective. In addition to that, Rosie has co-produced, co-directed, and starred in a handfull of internet shorts.

As an actress and hosting personality, she has been featured on the Style Network, Lifetime TV, SiTV, TLC, and countless other channels, including hosting an independent pilot for New Castle Productions.

Rosie has studied acting with some of the top mentors in the country, from Gary Austin, the founder of the Groundlings Improv School, to Paul Sills, the father of the original Second City in Chicago. In Academia, she received her B.A. in Television and Film in 2006 from California State University, Los Angeles.
